Growing up in Northeast Alabama, some of
my fondest memories are family vacations down
to the beautiful beaches of the Florida panhandle.
Fishing, playing at the beach, exploring the many
state parks, it was always a great time that I
never wanted to end. I always dreamed of growing
up and one day living at the beach. Luckily, for me,
the dream did not end and shortly after high school
I landed a job in Panama City - it was the kind
of life many teens dream of - working and playing
at the beach in the Spring Break capitol.

After graduating college with a degree in Fine Arts, I eventually ended up in South Florida working as a graphic designer / marketing assistant for a 4-star, 4-diamond, AAA Award winning hotel. Later, I would take the skills I learned at that job and go to work for a major publisher of PGA and LPGA souvenir golf tour magazines which led me to my next big adventure in life - this country girl was taking all her experience and moving to the city, “swimming pools, movie stars.” Yes, you guessed it, I am talking about Beverly Hills, California. Much to my family’s dismay, I packed up my belongings and moved myself across the country where I began working as the Advertising Coordinator for a publishing giant. And in my spare time, I worked as an extra in film, television and commercials - so, if by chance I look familiar to you, then maybe you’ve seen me on television.

About three years ago, I took a trip back to the panhandle of Florida. Wow, how it had changed! No, it wasn’t the hustle and bustle of the big city, but there was a peace within me that I couldn’t ignore - a warm, comforting feeling like you feel when you are home. And once again, I loaded up the truck and traveled back across the country and now I can honestly say that at age 35, I have come home to stay. I love everything about the Emerald Coast and I am certain that you will too - the white sandy beaches, sparkling clean emerald green waters, pristine natural park systems, the food, and especially the people.

I love challenges, pride myself in doing things differently, see problems as opportunities and believe that a smile and a positive attitude can change lives. Through my professional and personal experience, I am confident that if you choose to work with me, you won’t be disappointed. As I said earlier, if you need anything - please feel free to give me a shout and if I don’t have the answer right away, I guarantee that I will find one for you promptly. Thanks again for taking time out of your day to visit our website and to read about me. Hope to hear from you soon!

Christine DeAngelis

Christine grew up in the 60’s in a small historic
little town called Saugus, Massachusetts - just
north of Boston. Our delightful little suburban
neighborhood was filled with kids all about the
same age, and my love of sports/competition
developed at a very early age. I played organized
girls softball & girls ice hockey (long before it
became an Olympic event) and sometimes like to
think that our team and the league were some of
the founding women of the sports’ eventual
progression. Additionally, Saugus was just a few
short miles from the shores of Nahant, Lynn,
Swampscott & Revere - so my love of the sea was also evident at an early age. It seemed I’d do just about anything just to get a sniff of the Atlantic, whether it be a local beach or the gorgeous shores of Cape Cod to the south. However, the cold New England winters were seemingly endless and somehow I knew that I would eventually relocate to warmer climes.

I worked in the airline industry for many years with PBA (Provincetown Boston Airline, the last commercial airline to use the classic DC3 aircraft), Eastern Express, Eastern & Northwest Airlines. In December of 1989, while still working for Northwest Airlines, I took what was supposed to be a temporary transfer to southern California - which turned into a 15 year love affair with the west coast. After leaving the airline industry in 1996, I attained an Associate of Science degree at ITT Technical Institute and tried my hand at an array of different careers. Upon meeting Racquel in 1999 and the invent of the internet and eBay, we seemed to have found a niche - internet sales. Between working in internet sales and part time in the film industry as a movie & television extra, I came to visit the Northwest Florida Panhandle in 2002 and fell in love all over again. The beaches were so pristine, the colors of the Gulf of Mexico so extraordinary and the natural park systems so beautiful that it literally took my breath away. I’d heard about the ‘Florida Panhandle’ but had never been here before and knew absolutely nothing about the south - but just knew that I had to live here. So I took a chance and happily relocated. After working for a small but successful social stationary company here in Santa Rosa Beach for nearly 3 years, I took the Florida Real Estate Sales Associates course and became a licensed Real Estate Associate, now working with Century 21 Beach Realty.
